-Time:12:35pm-~Raz pulls into the 'Wayne's Diner' in Gotham City. Not too far away, already sitting at a table, is Shadow, reading something. He stops his vehicle: A nice, shiny, Metallic Dark Blue, freshly-washed...Oldsmobile Station Wagon ;)
. He walks around to the passenger side, opens the door, takes Mydnyte's hand, and helps her up and out of the car. He points toward the outdoor area of the diner~
RaZ: Hey Yo, chico! Justin!
*Shadow sets down his book and turns around.
SHADOW
Aah, you made it. Fresh wheels...
RaZ: Thanks.
*Mydnyte runs over and gives Shadow a hug. She then procedes to take a seat next to him.*
~Raz takes a seat across from Shadow and picks up the menu~
RaZ: This is my first time in Gotham, sooooo...anything good at this diner?
SHADOW
I suggest the Gotham Hero...
RaZ: Really? It may be good, but I'm not in the Cannibalistic mood, today
SHADOW
Say what?
~Raz Grins~
RaZ: Did I stutter?
SHADOW
I kind of wish you did...
RaZ: What's wrong? Somethin' I said?
MYDNYTE
Guys, could we just get something to eat please?
RaZ: Well. Sounds like Justin's hungry for some Bat......
SHADOW
I think they took that off the menu; it was quite good though. Kind of tasted like duck...
RaZ: Really? Y'sure it didn't taste like p.....Kitty-Cat?
SHADOW
I'm an expert on that area. It doesn't really taste anything like it.
RaZ: Eh. Damn, that's too bad
MYDNYTE
Guys... Food...
SHADOW
Yes, that would be what we're talking about... Kind of.
MYDNYTE
NOW!
*She points towards the diner.*
RaZ: Hmmmm. Well, what do y'think Justin? Jenn sound a bit hungry?
SHADOW
Just a tad...
*Mydnyte sighs and calls for a waitress.*
RaZ: Well...that settles that.
~When the waitress comes over, Raz points at something on the menu, and holds up three fingers. It's a Hoagie called 'The Gotham Hero'~
RaZ: Anywayz, down to business, shall we? What else, besides our Tag Tourny Match this Friday against Khanrai and that Pike guy, did y'wanna discuss?
*Shadow points towards his sister.*
SHADOW
I think right here is proof -- albeit pushy proof -- that you are a man of your word. Thanks. At first -- and I don't think you can blame me -- I thought you were a man of questionable morals; but you proved yourself true. Now... I was wondering if you'd be willing to work as a 'body guard' so-to-say for Jenn. I would be willing to pay you for your services, of course.
*Mydnyte huffs under her breath*
MYDNYTE
Call me pushy...
~Raz grins for a minute~
RaZ: Um, aight. I'm not usually one to take money or anythin' but, hell, she's cool to hang out with. I guess it couldn't hurt.
SHADOW
We'll give you free room-and-board at the mansion as well.
MYDNYTE
Yeah, Jake's room is free now that he moved out.
SHADOW
There's a lot of free rooms, Jenn.
RaZ: Heh. Aight. A li'l different from my usual arrangement. I'll have to pick a few things up, of course...and I've got quite a bit of 'few' things
SHADOW
There's plenty of room; don't worry.
RaZ: Um. Aight. Anything else?
SHADOW
Yeah... Where's the food?
~At that moment, the waitress comes back with three 'Gotham Heroes' and three shakes.~
RaZ: Uhhhh, we didn't order shakes
~The waitress smiles and winks~
Waitress: I know. It's on me.
RaZ: What's your name?
Waitress: Sandria
RaZ: Aight. Thanks Sandria.
Sandria: You're welcome
~She smiles one more time before turning around and walking away~
RaZ: Justin, man. Didya see that? She wants you
