Christopher Chaos Christopher Chaos Ignorance is not Bliss
Christopher Chaos
Supreme Entries #40
Date: June 16, 2004
Location: Backyard of Chris Chaos

The scene opens up to a warm and sunny day in the backyard of a middle-class suburban property. There are no clouds in the sky and the sun brightens every area of shade. The camera shows a thermometer which reads just below 100 degrees. Objects far away in the background appear to be blurring and steadily shaking due to the unbelievable heat and humidity. An in-ground pool covers half of the area of the yard and its water is crystal clear. The pool temps you to just dive right in and soak in the relaxing cool water, free of the scorching weather. Suddenly an unfamiliar figure rises to the surface of the water. The figure appear to be a well-built man with long blonde hair and a thin beard covering his face. His hands remove the dripping wet hair from his sun-burned face. Behind him in a beach chair lays a beautiful woman. The woman has long light colored hair and an attractive tan that pleases the eyes. She is in a two piece black bathing suit and is wearing sunglasses. The woman has her right foot rested closer into her body, elevating her knee in the air. One arm is rested behind her head. The unknown man then begins to talk to the camera.

UNKNOWN MAN: Ah, you have finally arrived. Please, set up right there. I’m ready to go whenever you are. You’re ready? Ok...

Three fingers are held in front of the camera lens as the unidentified man quiets and faces the camera. A finger drops followed by another. The final finger drops and is pointed at the man in the pool.

UNKNOWN MAN: Supreme Wrestling, our time has come. Who am I you ask? I have a name, and you shall know it soon enough. What do you all think about my home? Cozy? Comfortable? Sure it’s no mansion, and I bet many SW stars live in estates that would dwarf this. However, I bet many SW stars have no idea of what I have had to go through to get this. I’m sure they are ignorant as to what I’ve experienced just to get to this point in my life. Multi-million dollar contracts, castles, BMW’s, contracts to do commercials; if these things describe your life then I would consider quite successful. I would also take a wild guess that you have always had family and friends backing you up. That’s nice and dandy, really it is. I’ll clear something up though for you people, I promise that you won’t find a friend in me.

The woman on the chair sits up and then begins talking to the man.

UNKNOWN WOMAN: Chris, are they here already?

CHRIS: Yes, they arrived not too long ago. Hey Tara, could you fix us something to drink? One could die from thirst in weather like this.

Tara smiles and kisses Chris as she heads off inside the house.

CHRIS: My name is Christopher Chaos. For years I have been busting my tail in Indy federations. Yet does that make me worthy of being in SW? Does spending some time in the “minors” mean that I should automatically deserve to be here? Of course not. My past does justify my right to be here. No, no, do not worry. I will not bore you with a long, drawn out autobiography. I’m not like that. Actually, I’m one that believes that actions speak louder than words. Yet I think I should enlighten SW as to what I’ve gone through just to get to this point in my life.

Tara comes back out with three glasses of ice and a pitcher of lemonade. She fills the glasses up and then hands them to Chris and the cameraman. Chris takes a few gulps and then rests the glass on the side. As Tara brings the cameraman his drink, the camera seems to slowly slide down to Tara’s chest. It stays there as the cameraman is heard guzzling down the sweet lemonade and Tara walks off. The scene shows Tara’s posterior when Chris is heard yelling something at the cameraman when the view returns to Chris.

CHRIS: Thank you! Now as I was saying, I should give SW a brief rundown of my experiences...

TARA: Chris, don’t do that sweetheart! You know how hard it has been for you to get over everything! Why are you going to remind yourself of such painful memories?

CHRIS: I think SW should know. It will help them to have a better understanding of me. You see... >cutting off Tara< I never knew my parents. I was found at the age of 1 outside in the rain near some bridge. A young couple that wanted to adopt a child to see if they were ready picked me up and accepted me as their own. We became attached as they were the only family I knew. Then when I was around the age of thirteen I witnessed them get shot. My father was mistaken for another person and was killed because of that. My mother tried to reason with the killer and was shot for no reason. I too would have been shot, but the police were near and he strangely had no more bullets.

TARA: I’m glad he did, for my life would never have been the same without you.

CHRIS: As a matter of fact that incident led me to you. I was scared and ran away from the location. I was never officially “adopted” so I did not know what would have happened to me. I ran into a group of kids that had similar backgrounds as myself. Most were older and I happened to get close to the oldest. He always stuck up for me and really took a liking to me. I helped him out, he helped me... we were like brothers. Then on a Christmas Eve news broke out that he had left to get me a gift. I was unaware of this and he ended up getting stabbed to death. A gang had killed him just for the gift he was getting me. I never found out who killed him or what he was going to get me. However, I ended up meeting his younger sister as I became one of them. We fell in love at first sight...

Tara and Chris kiss each other and Chris turns back to the camera.

CHRIS: So now I was on my own with my darling Tara. Since then I’ve worked my tail off to earn everything I’ve ever earned. Like this house, this pool, that car... sure they’re not much, but if you understood what I’ve been through and how hard it’s been you’d realize how amazing I am. My goal in SW is not to become World Champion. My goal is not to be the greatest of all time. I came here to wrestle and kick ass. And my goal... to make people feel pain ten times worse then I had to experience.

TARA: Who are you fighting on Friday dear?

CHRIS: One called... B-Dog? You see I know that these people in SW probably take me as some sort of joke. They are not aware of what I am capable of doing. You see, ignorance is not bliss. If management continuously throws random superstars in the ring with me, they’ll find their active roster dwarf by the week. B-Dog, good luck at Warfare. I’ve never seen you in action, not to mention I’ve never even heard of or seen you before. Oh well, but B-Dog, I’ll be using you as my example this week. My example that SW doesn’t know what it is messing with. I’ve learned to get over the hell I call my life, and the SW roster better as well. I believe my camera time is up for now. Sir, would be so kind as to stop staring at my girlfriend? Thank you.

Chris Chaos is shown drinking his lemonade and relaxing in a corner of his pool. Tara gracefully dives into the pool
