The Supervisor The Supervisor Enlightenment Night
The Supervisor
Supreme Entries #37
Date: 6/15/04
Location: In a local bar

(A local bar. Neon signs for beers and nachos fill up the bar. In the corner of the bar, there is a small elevated stage, with drums, stacks, and amps on it. A band sits there playing for the bar. The drummer, Tim, drumming away at the rack toms and hitting the double bass nicely. The bassist, Steve, playing frantically with his fingers, filling the bar up with sweet basslines. The lead guitarist, Kevin, sweep picking and tapping solos with all of his talent and might. The rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist, with long hair, a black leather trench coat, and sunglasses. You guessed it, none other than The Supervisor. He smirks and sets his electric guitar down and picks up an acoustic guitar. He strums on it a little bit, tuning the strings as he strums. He stares out into the crowd, and smirks. The drunks in the bar hold up their bottles and glasses to The Supervisor when he stares out at them. He moves up to the mic and looks around again.)

SV: You know us, we're the band Enlightenment, and we've enjoyed playing this little quaint show here tonight. But before we finish up with the last song, I've got to tell you people something...I've found a new day job again.

(The bar looks over at SV when he says that.)

SV: Yes, yes, I've been signed to become a wrestler again. This time, it seems I've been signed to wrestle for Supreme Wrestling. I know. I figure I'd sign, and get a few weeks off with free money, but nope...My second day in the fed, I find out I have a match alreayd at the upcoming weekly show. But it's not all bad. It's a handicap match, and I am on the two person team. I believe I'm teamed up with a one Seth Dryden, and we're against a one Cameron Tymes...Usually when I sign to a company, I know some of the works in it already...I've never met a majority of these characters in my life...it's odd. It's unusual not knowing people. So I don't know what to say about these two people.

(SV strums on his guitar a little more to get it in tune. He picks up a glass and takes a gulp of some water and places the glass back down.)

SV: Yeah...I can't talk trash. Oh well. But there is one thing with this match. I don't know anything about it. The storylines involved with the other people in it, and it's strange. I feel like a complete alien in this match. I hope I'm not getting myself into something strangely complicated and deep. But you people know how energizing it is to just...jump right into something. Like this next song!

(The people in the bar scream some 'YEAHS' as Enlightenment begins to play an acoustic song. Tim starts rhytmically hitting the splash, toms and bass, and Steve starts some light slapping, and Kevin just goes nuts with some acoustic bends and vibrato. SV strums and scoots himself up to the mic as they treach the one minute point in the song. The song reaches the one minute point, and the music stops dead. The Supervisor looks around, and smirks. The music starts again, mellowishly heavy as acoustic can be. The Supervisor opens his mouth.)

SV: This...this...this...this...this...this lovely life of yours, giving in to the plagues of ravages that consume you...Oh the little girl...she walked alone. She chose to walk through the park...Ooooooooooooooooooh the park...And the park...it took her away, to another day, from another place where it all came down...And it all came back arouuund...

(SV closes his mouth and Kevin breaks into a slow, powerful solo. He strums the strings, pulling off and hammering, then breaking it down into some fast sweeps. The people watch and clap as Kevin reaches the highest notes he can with his acoustic guitar. And as Kevin hits the highest note, SV comes back in singing.)

SV: The park...she chose to walk through the park...TAKING HER HEART AWAY...TO LIFE AND BACK TO ANOTHER DAY...TO HAVE IT ALL TAKEN AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY...Free this girl lost within her sins, to protect her and the next of kin...To eliminate the remorse, and she chose to walk through the park...WALKING THROUGH THE PARK...WHY THE PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARK?

(The song ends as the bar starts cheering after it ends. The Supervisor looks around smiling at the bar people.)

SV: Well, as I was saying before that song, I am now a wrestler again...Yeah, I guess this means no more of this!

(SV smirks, holding up a pitcher of beer, and then he tips it over onto his face. Most of the beer splashes onto the floor as SV gulps down some of the beer. He shakes his head as beer flies off of his face and hair. He picks the mic up again.)

SV: Guess I can't drink like that anymore now. Guess I have to start training again, working out, eating right...meh. That kinda sucks. Living the life of a rock star is hard...but being a wrestler is so much harder. The working out, the bleeding, the blood, the sweating, the sweat...all of that. Wrestling is about all of that, and to put on a good show. But I know one thing, and you people here in this bar probably know one thing...I can put on one hell of a show. I may not be the best, but I am beyond determined night in and night out to put on the best show ever, better than anyone else before me, or in the future to come. Let's forget about the past, and look at the future. I'm going to be a better showman than ever, and I'm going to take even bigger risks. I'm not over the hill yet...I consider myself to be at the bottom of my career hill still...I've been given a gift here, with this showmanship...And durability. Well, before we start the very last song of the night, I've got to admit something. I thought those dudes in Supreme Wrestling were a daunting bunch of dudes. But now I realize something...I am able to be just as sinister, sadistic, creatively evil, punishing, and athletic as anyone else on this planet. I don't need to spew my mouth off for 4 hours a week to my opponents. I do my talking in the ring, with my body. It's time for a revival, and time to become the master artist that I am.

(SV picks up his electric guitar and motions for the rest of the band to get ready for the last song.)

SV: As you people know, if you've been an Elightenment show before...you know how the last song always is. Speed metal coverage!

(SV starts playing fast riffs, getting faster and faster with each strum.)

SV: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! HERE IT GOES!

Imagine you were at my station
And you brought your motor to me
You're a burner, yeah, a real motor car

Said you want to get your order filled
Made me shiver when I put it in
Pumping just won't do ya know luckily for you

Whoever thought you any better
At turning a screw than me, I do it for my life
Made my drive shaft crank, made my pistons bulge
Made my ball bearings melt from the heat

We were shifting hard when we took off
Put tonight all four on the floor
When we hit top end you know it feels so slow

Said you want to get your order filled
Made me shiver when I put it in
Pumping just won't do ya know luckily for you

Whoever thought you any better
At turning a screw than me, I do it for my life
Made my drive shaft crank, made my pistons bulge
Made my ball bearings melt from the heat

OOOH WAIT, METAL MEDLEY!

(The band starts playing the intro to another speed metal song.)

SV: OOOOH THUNDER AND LIGHTNING THE GODS TAKE REVENGE...
Senseless destruction
Victims of fury are cowardly now
Running for safety
Stabbing the harlot to pay for her sins
Leaving the virgin
Suicide running as if it were free
Ripping and tearing

Oh through the mist and the madness
We are trying to get the message to you
Metal Militia
Metal Militia
Metal Militia

OOOOH NOO NOO NOO, WE GOT ONE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE!

(The band freezes for a moment, smirks, and then starts playing the end to one last metal song.)

SV: GETTING USED TO...GETTING USED TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

I am crying unwept tears through this violence
I'll die trying to break this thick crust of silence

Trading pain is a bad deal
I've got more than my share
Too much to bear!
Every beat of the hammer
Every blood stricken street:
A way to trade off heat.

They will bleed till I'm empty
If I deserve to die I'll make it show
I will stain your affection, I will wear out your heart
You'll follow where I go

Blood stains
Cut veins
Filthy
Murder
LEAVE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE....

(Tim starts playing the cymbals to make a raining sound as the guitars come to a close and the bass stops.)

SV: Thank you very much, and good night!

(The people start clapping as the band walks off the stage and heads to the bar for night ending drinks. SV sits and the bar and talks to people sitting by him.)

SV: To Supreme Wrestling! THIS IS A REVIVAL! Good luck, and good fortune for all! THIS IS FOR THE REVIVAL!

(SV holds up his drink and the scene ends as The Supervisor is seen smiling, taking a drink.)
